I am an experienced and enthusiastic instructor who will help my students with all aspects of learning to play the guitar. I enjoy helping someone take their interest in this wonderful musical instrument and turn that interest into a skill that adds music and enrichment into the rest of their lives. I have also helped experienced players build on the skills and knowledge they have gained to ultimately perfect their playing and be able to take it to a whole new level.
I enjoy guiding my students toward their ultimate goals in a manner as comfortable and timely as possible. For me, I try to go beyond being just a teacher and allow my students to proceed at a pace of learning that is comfortable for them so that they can be sure that they are absorbing the knowledge I have to share with them. By doing this, I am ensuring that together, we keep moving forward with as little hardship as possible.
Learning to play the guitar takes time, patience and practice. No matter what goals my students have, from playing one particular song to learning the guitar as well as possible, I will teach them what they need to know to be a success. This will mean learning proper guitar technique, everything from how to play notes and chords properly to how to take care of this instrument
